HCI And DNL Global Launch International Human Capital Summit And Roundtable Tour

First Stop on the "Human Capital Global" Tour: India

Washington DC - The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator in the global human capital sector, announced it has partnered with Dallas-based DNL Global to present a powerful, multi-day knowledge exchange program for HR and line executives. The first "Human Capital Global Summit and Roundtable Tour" will take place November 1-10, 2006 in India, featuring an Executive Talent Summit in New Delhi, followed by roundtable tours to Bangalore and Hyderabad. Future tours are planned in China and Brazil.

"Indian executives, with their emphasis on metrics and quality, can aid their U.S. counterparts in adding science and rigor to talent management. American leaders, on the other hand, can provide Indian executives proven methods in employee engagement and retention strategies. In the interests of strengthening partnerships between the countries, talent management best practices should be shared and merged into globally inspired human capital practices," said Allan Schweyer, Executive Director of the Human Capital Institute

As the world shrinks with greater advancements in technology, it expands as new global partnerships become viable. The Summit is an opportunity for executives from India, North America and Europe to exchange best practices and create new talent management alliances and solutions. Summit objectives include:

  • Developing a Global Mindset & Understanding
  • Forging Relationships and Partnerships
  • Building and Enhancing Your Virtual-Global Workforce

"Participants will gain firsthand knowledge of how to build successful workforce relationships in strategic regions around the world, resulting in clear competitive advantage for their organizations," said Lori Blackman, DNL Global president and founder. "Participants will return home with solid business contacts and the necessary networks to create strategic alliances."

Depending on their level of participation, participants will be provided bi-annual summits and roundtable tours around the world, online workshops, webcasts, consultation and a two-day certificate training program in global talent acquisition and management.

Participation is by application-only. Interested HR executives are encouraged to apply and/or nominate colleagues or thought leaders. Applications and nominations will be accepted through July 1st, 2006. For more information please contact Lori Blackman at lblackman@dnlglobal.com.

Additionally, Summit sponsorships are still available. For more information contact Allan Schweyer at aschweyer@humancapitalinstitute.org.
